The 42nd Annual Brandywine River Museum Antiques Show - May 25 - 27, 2013

Spend the holiday weekend celebrating the history, antiques and lore of the Brandywine Valley with Faunbrook Bed and Breakfast and the Brandywine River Museum! Book a weekend stay at Faunbrook and take a trip back in time with the 42^nd Annual Brandywine River Museum Antiques Show. Start your day at the Brandywine River Museum on Saturday, May 25 at 9:00 a.m. with a special breakfast and lecture of Which Way the Wind Blows: Antique Americans Weathervanes exhibition with Jennifer Mass, senior scientist in the conservation department at Winterthur. Continue your day at the antiques show by visiting the dealers between 10:30 and 5:00 p.m., with special live music between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. Check into Faunbrook B&B and enjoy a fine dinner in downtown West Chester. After a full gourmet breakfast on Sunday, return to the Brandywine River Museum for dealer booth talks between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Then head to Chadds Ford Winery for live music and wine bar from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. $10 wine tastings all weekend.

Package includes: Two-night stay at Faunbrook B&B on May 25 & 26, tickets to Saturday breakfast at the Brandywine River Musuem, and two days of admission to the antiques show.

Wine weekend with Wine and Jazz Festival at Longwood Gardens - May 31 - June 2, 2013

Start your summer off with a trip to West Chester and Longwood Gardens where you will be able to sample fine wines all weekend long. Start in our downtown on Friday evening at Kreutz Creek Winery Tasting Room with live music from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. Get a take out meal from one of our fine restaurants and Bring Your Own Food (BYOF) to the tasting room. Enjoy an overnight stay at Faunbrook B&B with a gourmet breakfast before heading out to the Longwood Gardens for the Wine and Jazz Festival from 12:00 to 5:30 p.m. Enjoy the sounds of live jazz and a wine and jazz picnic basket. Have a relaxing night on the town and dine at one of many fine West Chester Restaurants. On Sunday, visit one or more of our eight local wineries of the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail before heading home.

Includes two 3 day passes to the high-end local Y gym or 2 yoga classes at the Spirit of Yoga in downtown West Chester, in-room massages, and a small basket of specialty bath products in your room. Body and Wellness Packages range from $50 to $350 added to your room rate. Vendors include Arbonne International and The Massage Institute.

Hearts and Flowers Package

Take the beautiful Brandywine wine tour and visit the famous Chaddsford and Penn's Wood Wineries. Come back and impress your love with an elegant and romantic room, including a dozen roses in the color you choose and a box of gourmet chocolates. Local vendors include Kati Mac Floral Designs and Eclat Chocolates of West Chester. Hearts and Flowers Packages range from $50 to $175 added to your room rate.

Brandywine Day and Winery Tour Package

Stay in the Brandywine for at least two days to visit the best the area has to offer. On day one, enjoy a tasting passport to local wineries with the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail tour. Then, spend a second afternoon visiting your choice of local venues such as Longwood Gardens or Brandywine River Museum. Please speak with the owner about dinner recommendations and restaurant gift certificates add a fine dining experience to your package. Wine tour packages range from $60 to $350 added to your room rate.

Beauty and Relaxation Package

An excellent gift for a bride, couple or special someone! Enjoy luxurious pampering with our beauty and relaxation package which can include facials, manicures, pedicures and massage at Joseph Anthony Retreat Spa and Salon and gift of speciality bath products in your room. We recommend Edith's, Isabel's, or Elizabeth 's rooms with large soaking or claw-foot tubs for this package.
